After sports betting became legal in Arizona, the state coffers have yet to cross the $10 million mark. At the same time, the sportsbooks in the state have made $225 million.

Between September 2021 and February 2022, the state’s
general fund reached about $8.5 million from sports gambling. And during the
college football seasons or professional games, the average revenue is about
$1.4 million per month. If the averages hold, the state will earn about $17
million after the first year of legal betting.

But, there is a decrease in revenue. Arizona sportsbooks held 5.7% for $29.2 million in
April sports betting revenue. It is about a 21.5% decrease from the March
revenue, which was $37.2 million. In addition, operators deducted around $12.7
million in promotions, leading to a taxable revenue of approximate $16.5
million. With promotional deductions, just seven of the 18 sportsbooks in
Arizona turned in taxable revenue totals. As a result, the state collected around
$1.6 million in taxes.

Arizona bettors have spent roughly $2.8 billion and won
more than $2.5 billion. By learning online betting tricks, you can also make a good
profit from sports betting in the state.

Arizona
Online Sportsbooks

Arizona sports betting is legal, and bettors in the state
have various options to choose from. In addition, there are a lot of legal
sportsbooks that offer amazing bonuses to you when you win a bet. Here is the
list of some of the best sportsbooks currently available in Arizona after one
year of the launch of sports betting in the state:

FanDuel
Sportsbook

The Phoenix Suns of the NBA agreed to a partnership with
FanDuel Sportsbook. This sportsbook in Arizona accepts online bets from users
throughout the state. FanDuel was among the first bookmakers that got approval
for event wagering and DFS by the Arizona Department of Gaming.

DraftKings
Sportsbook

DraftKings and the Professional Golfers’ Association
partnered to provide online sports betting in Arizona. In a press release,
DraftKings referred to it as a “first-of-its-kind” and a “one-of-a-kind” sports
betting experience.

WynnBET

Gambling giant Wynn offers sports betting software named
WynnBET in the state of Arizona. In early July 2021, the company announced it
had linked up with the San Carlos Apache Tribal Gaming Enterprise to serve
Arizona bettors. The tribe currently runs two in-state properties, the Apache
Gold Casino and the Apache Sky Casino.

BetRivers

BetRivers sportsbook of Rush Street Interactive has made
the team with the Arizona Rattlers. The Rattlers are one of the oldest sports
franchises in the state and are the most successful IFL team. BetRivers
launched their Arizona online sports betting app to help bettors place a bet
online.

In addition to the above-mentioned sportsbooks, many other
sportsbooks in Arizona offer an online betting experience. All in all, the
status of sports betting in the state is increasing day by day after it becomes
legal in Arizona.

Bottom
Line

Fantasy sports betting launched in late August in
Arizona. Between the launch and the end of 2021, gamblers wagered more than
$1.7 billion with sports betting in the state. Also, the sports books made
about $60 million in profit. So, the status of online sports betting in Arizona
after one year is good and increasing day by day.
