“D.Bogachev”, who had played in hundreds of microstakes tournaments on 888poker— with an average buy-in of just $1, satellited into the event for a fraction of the buy-in. He then went all the way to claim the marquee title to cap off the great story.
This year’s Main Event begins on Wednesday, January 25, with Day 1 flights scheduled until Monday, January 30. Day 2 will then kick off later that day at 8 p.m. GMT and play down until the final table. The Main Event will then conclude the following day as that is when the winner will be crowned.
