The Winter Open series is returning to bestbet Jacksonville in northern Florida later this month and is set to take place Jan. 26-Feb. 6. The week-and-a-half series will culminate with the $2,000 buy-in No-Limit Hold’em Main Event kicking off on Feb. 3.
In addition to the Main Event, the sixth annual Winter Open will feature other No-Limit Hold’em and Pot-Limit Omaha events with buy-ins ranging from $300 to $1,000, as well as several satellites into the Main Event and side events.
Nine Events
The Winter Open series will kick off on Jan. 26 with Event #1 $400 NLH, which will feature a massive six starting flights before the final day on Jan. 29, which will feature a live-streamed final table that can be watched on the bestbetLIVE and on YouTube and Twitch.
Next on the schedule is Event #2 $400 NLH on Jan. 29, a single-day event that will feature $100 bounties. The following two days, the single-day Event #3 $300 NLH and Event $4 $400 NLH will play out.
Feb. 1 will see Event #5 $300 NLH – Ladies Event play out in addition to Event #6 $400 NLH with $100 Bounties. The next day, the 6-max Event #7 $1,000 NLH will take place.
The first flight of the marquee Main Event will get underway on Feb. 3 and the second and final flight will play out the next day. In exchange for their $2,000 buy-in, players will get a starting stack of 30,000 chips with blinds starting at 100/200.
Day 2 of the Winter Open Main Event will commence on Feb. 5 before the final table on Feb. 6, which will be live-streamed on bestbetLIVE.
Those who hope to play the Main Event without putting up the stake are in luck as there are plenty of satellite options available. There are $280 satellites that award up to ten seats into the Main Event, as well as $100 satellites into the side events and $240 satellites into the Ladies Event.
