X2Y2 NFT Marketplace Joins NTT Docomo To Bring Web3 To The Masses

The non-fungible token market X2Y2 has inked a multiyear partnership with Docomo, one of the largest telecommunication companies, and its subsidiary “NTT Digital,” to bring the next billion users into the nascent Web3 sector. NTT Docomo Enters The Crypto Space

In a July 12 press release, the telecommunication firm and its subsidiary “NTT Digital” confirmed teaming up with the X2Y2 NFT market platform. The joint team seeks to combine their full-scale efforts and capabilities toward the social implementation of web3.

Launched in January 2022, X2Y2 is a decentralized non-fungible token market platform that offers a range of features, including bulk listing and batch buying for users to trade NFTs. The NFT marketplace has quickly grown to become one of the top NFT marketplaces in terms of sales volume, the total number of unique users, and sales count.

Under the recent integration, Japan’s largest telecom, “Docomo” and X2Y2, anticipate fusing their market power and influence to onboard massive users to the web3. To kick off the web3 adoption, Docomo has changed the name of its subsidiary, “NTT Docomo,” to now NTT Digital.

NTT Digital has also reached basic agreements with 13 companies to collaborate with businesses in various industries to develop systems, create use cases, and develop rules. The laid-down infrastructure will boost the massive adoption of web3.

NTT Docomo NFT And Metaverse Push

NTT Digital has also begun working globally as a web3 enabler to create an amicable environment where investors, individuals, and companies can seamlessly and safely use web3 services. The fintech firm has promised to integrate more partners to provide knowledge of security and payment.

The fintech firm will provide web3 users with primary market exposure to development, content management, and trading using non-fungible tokens. NTT Digital will also promote the creation of crypto assets, stablecoins, and self-management of personal data using distributed IDs.

In addition, as the first step to begin offering the web3 services, NTT Digital has started developing a token wallet that will be the entrance to the web3 service. This wallet aims to be used with peace of mind without being aware of web3 or blockchain by backing up private keys, utilizing biometric authentication, filtering fraudulent transactions, etc. This wallet is scheduled to be available later this year.
