After completing the most successful presale of 2023, Meta Masters Guild is landing on the first cryptocurrency exchange – XT.com, on March 1.
Meta Masters Guild is the world’s first mobile-focused Web 3 gaming platform that strategically plans to make the game fun to increase the crypto gaming adoption rate.
XT.com is a 201-established cryptocurrency exchange that has made a name for itself by listing many successful low-cap cryptos. The exchange has six million users and maintains a healthy 24-hour trading volume of $618 million. CoinMarketCap lists it among the top 100 cryptocurrency exchanges.
Those who don’t want to take the centralized route can go to Uniswap, which will list the token at the same time and date – March 1, 10 am UTC. There are more listings in the pipeline, and all of them are coming soon.
Token Generation Event Starting Tomorrow – Claim your Tokens From Then
Meta Masters Guild concluded its presale on February 17 but delayed the token generation event to prevent liquidity risk due to last-minute sell pressure. As a result, early movers will be able to claim their tokens tomorrow.
Claiming the tokens is a simple enough process requiring one to go to the official website, connect the wallet they used to buy MEMAG tokens, and then click on the “claim” button.
Being a seven-staged crypto presale, Meta Masters Guild has already generated 228% profit for those who bought the tokens in the first stage at $0.0023. Experts estimate that another 2x gain may be accessible to these early movers once the tokens get listed on XT.com.
Meta Masters Guild is one of the most unique P2E cryptos to have come out this year that uses the “fun factor” as a strategic element. The devs understand that to create a sustainable economy, a fun-centric ecosystem is needed to entice non-crypto gamers. From the looks of it, the project has already started to hit the ground running with its first games.
Meta Kart Racers – The First Game by Meta Masters is Already in Development
Gamearound is the first studio to have partnered with Meta Masters Guild, and it has already started developing the first game on the platform – Meta Kart Racers.
Meta Kart Racers takes direct inspiration from Mario Kart and Sonic Racing Transform games featuring quirky characters, vehicles, and power-ups – all of which will be tradable as an NFT once the project goes live.
The community firmly believes this game may be a hit because of who is at the held. Gamearound is a blockchain developer behind crypto games such as Boohoo, an online fashion retailer that generated upward of $1 billion in revenue.
Gamearound CEO Gideon Clifton has revealed that a beta version of the game is currently at work that would feature a free entry-level NFT and a cart. Players wanting access to the premium version will be able to do so once the NFT marketplace goes live.
The Gamearound CEO says that his goal is to revolutionize the mobile gaming community using Meta Masters Guild as it will allow them to bring fun games from the P2E community.
Non-Crypto and Crypto Gamers Will be Able to Play Meta Kart Racers
Meta Masters Guild has done away with the standard practice of P2E games of requiring NFTs to play. The devs plan to develop two game versions – F2P and P2E.
The free-to-play (F2P) version will be accessible on all mobile platforms through which millions of players across the globe will be able to play it. Playing the P2E version of the game will reward players with Gems – an off-chain currency – that they can use to customize their rides or avatars.
Meta Masters Guild will allow players to select a car and a character at the start of the game and then pick between multiple variations of tracks to start playing.
The game will tackle all kinds of gamers with its single-player and multiplayer modes.
Upgrading the cars will be possible through $MEMAG or Gems tokens that can be used to buy upgrades and customization packs from the Meta Masters Guild store.
Winning the games will reward players with more Gems or tradable NFTs. These NFTs will be 3D-rendered characters to be used in the games.
Meta Kart Racers is just the first game, with two mode games – Raid NFT and Meta Masters World still in the concept stage.
Raid NFT will be a tactile RTS game featuring characters that players will have an isometric view of. Meta Masters World will be another game by Gamearound that will feature exploration, combat, and building, and Gamearound is the one providing this game.
Mobile-Based Gameplay Will Never Be the Same With Meta Masters Guild
Web 3 games have always had trouble making the games fun. The reason has always been overambition to over-deliver within a stringent deadline, and Meta Masters Guild has taken a more realistic approach instead.
It is a mobile-first platform that allows fun games to be made at a minimal cost. Also, the mobile game segment is poised to reach $315 billion by the end of 2023, which makes it more viable for Web 3 games to start here.
Meta Masters Guild has accepted this fact as it moves forward with creating a unique gaming experience in the web 3 space. Players will be able to play for free or engage with the P2E ecosystem using MEMAG tokens.
However, traditional DeFi mechanics are also available, and they will enable players to stake their tokens to contribute to the Meta Masters ecosystem and earn rewards.
That belief and the community’s desire to see real games in the P2E space allowed Meta Masters Guild to hit its presale target of $4.97 quickly. Devs say that that’s all they need to start working on the games.
The web 3 gaming space is large, and people have been yearning for it. Axie Infinity, for instance, pumped by 1000x at one time. And while the value has retraced massively by then, AXS set the standard for Web 3 games upon which other ecosystems are being built.
Support for P2E games as a Rallying Cry Against Micro Transactions
Traditional gaming space is plagued by microtransactions that don’t give users any ownership of their DLCs. At most, these microtransaction is a way to spend money to have the right to play a particular part of a game with a specific item.
That has created a Pay-to-Win scenario in traditional gaming that gamers aren’t a big fan of. Unfortunately, while P2E games have tried to remedy this situation, they have failed miserably for two reasons.
- The games aren’t fun.
- The games aren’t the focus.
P2E games aren’t anything more than window dressings hiding a DeFi mechanic underneath. The games by themselves aren’t fun. And most of the popular games are modeled after games like “Farmville” on Facebook.
And it also doesn’t help that those bullish about NFT games refuse to address any issues with it.
Meta Masters Guild is different in that regard. It aims to create games that are actually fun to play. And while most of these games have DeFi mechanics, they aren’t the star of the show – the gameplay is.
Meta Masters has called this the “play and earn” approach. It is trying to address issues of both legacy gaming and the current P2E ecosystem, which makes it a gaming revolution that you must join up with.
